As noticed by Stefan in this thread: https://redmine.emweb.be/boards/2/topics/18592, there are certain assumptions we make when working with Dbo forms. Not all of these assumptions are clarified or made explicit. While the code does imply them, one needs to understand the whole first, before they can start working with it. I think this stems from them being designed with certain projects in mind, or at least certain architectural tendencies of those projects.

We should properly document these assumption, and also validate whether they are good assumptions or not.
