There is functionality in the JS implementation of layouts, to have resizable layouts.
To be "feature-complete", we should investigate whether this can be added to Flex layouts too.

An idea was to have a generic class that can be inserted in the layout manager at the correct position. This will have some custom JS, that will probably prompt the server to update the layout given the new constraints.
