Description

There is a bug in WLocale

When I set the WLocale to "en_IN" {English, India}

Group seperator is NULL: It should be ","

Date format is yyyy-mm-dd: It should be dd/MM/yyyy or dd/MMM/yyyy

Date Time format is yyyy-mm-dd HH:mm:ss : It should be dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss

For date format, its choosing ISO format, that is a bug.

WLocale is working as designed in that case. Setting it to en_IN only sets the name, and affects how translated strings are looked up.

Wt does not contain or access a database with that information (what the group separator is for a given locale, what the date time format is,...).

You will have to set those things yourself.
