Hey,

We did look at this, and the situation is however that it cannot be solved in a robust way. All javascript workarounds suffer from issues ranging from failing to behave like the native scrolling, being slow, and interfering with contained form elements such as combo boxes. It may work for specific cases but certainly not as part of a library (like Wt).

At the same time, it looks like both Apple and Google are going to solve this in future versions of their browser (so that native overflow: scroll works)...
