Wt on other platforms

How to run wt for symbian os platform written in C. Can I use the same source code of web application for symbian phones?
If we suceeded in building Wt on symbian we can make application running on phones and mobiles.
Also How to use Witty for desktop even though its not possible. Is there anybody working on Wt for desktop?
If nobody is working on Wt for desktop I would like to start a project for making Wt for desktop.
Can anyone please give me some suggestions, help or tips to make Wt for desktop too.
If all the above said are not possible. Please inform me how much time and effort is needed for a medium-term project (desktop apps) to web using (Wt).

I compiled Wt for Android last week without many problems and have made a blog post on my experiences: http://www.webtoolkit.eu/wt/blog/2010/09/07/wt_on_android I assume Symbian is similar.
There is a proof of concept project for Wt for Desktop here:
