Google crawler shows that server is down, "URL change not allowed" appears in Wt logs

Hi,

I have encountered a problem that Google bot can't access the page and consequently thinks that the server is down, and stops showing the ads for the page.

The Wt logs show the following problem for these access attempts:

[2015-Jan-02 20:55:00.944262] 5988 [/ qkv7bYkENhQo8sA1] [secure] "Wt: change of IP address (66.249.93.154 -> 66.249.93.160) not allowed."

Is there any way to fix it?

Actually, it all seems to be working now... Not sure what the problem with the Google bot was.

Hey Peter,

You should make sure the bot is treated as a bot.

See: in wt_config.xml
