Description

I noticed a slow down of scrolling the table view by using the mouse wheel within a MVC WTableView within Firefox V27. I tested this slow down with wt 3.2.3, wt 3.3.1 and wt 3.3.-rc2 and in all these versions the slow down occurs.

I tested it with Chrome Version 28.0.1500.52 and the scrolling is pretty fast. So it seems to me that something is wrong with Wt in conjunction with Firefox V27

Regards,

Stefan

Hey,

I couldn't reproduce this with Firefox 27.0.1 on Linux. Any more details on how you experience this?

Hi Koen,

try this link: http://arm4.de:81/fcgi-bin/myarmbrowser.fcgi?id=TKtRNufbXJ9prslfMmdxgGFT&apply

Scrolling within Chrome is steady-going and fast (even completely remote) and in Firefox V27.0.1 (Linux Mint) its unsteady. Hope that helps!

Stefan

Hey Stefan,

I tried with Firefox 27.0.1 on Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows XP now, and compared to Chrome. I really couldn't tell what would be wrong.

Can you reproduce this on multiple computers? What OS are you seeing the problem with? Are you using 27.0.1 or another version?

Nice application btw. It took me some time to realize ARM != embedded processor, though, but that's probably a wrong preconception from my side.

Hi Koen,

ok, I tested it now with Firefox V27.0.1 on Windows 7 and it works fine!

I use Linux Mint 14 for main development and the Firefox (V27.0.1 mint 1.0) on this platform seems to have some problems here... I'll try a plain fresh Firefox install...

Yes, most of the people these days mistake ARM (Application Response Measurement) with ARM processors...

Thanks, without Wt such an application would not exist ;) In the next few weeks we are releasing our MyARM 3.0 version which includes a new Wt WPaintedWidget based application ;)

Regards,

Stefan
