Description
Are there plans to implement a visualisation of audio in the WMediaPlayer (something similar of what is available in Audacity)?
If not, how can this feature be implemented?
Can you give us some hints?

Hey,
I didn't think it was possible, but apparently Chrome and Firefox have provided an API to access the signal data:
http://www.smartjava.org/content/exploring-html5-web-audio-visualizing-sound
Our current WMediaPlayer does not actually make the audio element available, since it implements a fallback for flash if html5 audio is not available (or does not work for the given file type).
In this case, I would recommend to start from the WAudio class directly, and work with JavaScript and the APIs as in the link above.
Regards,
koen
