Did you follow our installation instructions on the wiki and where did you get stuck? What error messages did you get?

Just spend some time with it.... download and install necessary tools and libs ( cmake , boost , ...etc )

I am sure you will find it fantastic :)

I'm having a lot of problems with it too. Why would you not include the libraries you require and have tested a particular version with the package you are distributing? The libraries you depend on can be changed by the people who maintain them and can render your tool inoperable or difficult to install.

Anyway I'm trying to install on my Mac 10.5.8. I installed the latest versions of everything that was required. I tried it with the precise instructions for Leopard. Could not find boost. I tried the generic instructions. Could not find boost. I tried with the git package. Could not find boost.

You want people to use your excellent tool, no?

Hello John,

That is what the 'winst' installer does (http://www.webtoolkit.eu/wt/download). Winst will download Wt, boost, other dependencies, and then compile the whole thing. The dependencies on system-installed software are minimal.

Note: make sure wget is installed on your system so that all dependencies are downloaded automatically.

BR,

Wim.
