if you define "true" tooltips

are not multiline anymore

Hi!

I just upgraded to latest git and this one seems to be a little bit tricky...

I tested with firefox4, chrome, safari and ie9.

I tested xhtml on and off in configfile.

The only browser that is always ok is ie9.

Chrome is only ok without xhtml set in configfile.

All other browsers are not ok.

Apparently this was due to the modification in doctype that Wt specifies. We changed it from html4 transitional to html5, and this has impacted some specific corner cases where we didn't expect it.

Hey Max,

Since this was already broken when enabling XHTML, we've added support for real XHTML tooltips (using JavaScript). You will need to format the text with

's or 's to get the multiple lines.

Soon in your git copy ...
